Club Meeting Notice: The next scheduled WARC meeting will be held on Thursday, September 16th (NOTE no August meeting) at 7:30pm at the Comm Center at the corner of Burbank Rd. and Oldman Rd. in Wooster. World War 2 LST: LST-325 will be cruising up the Ohio River to Pittsburgh in August and September and will be stopping at Wheeling, Pittsburgh, and Marietta for public tours. Click here for details.
WARC DX Group: The next WARC DX Group meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, August 24th @ 7:00pm (note the earlier start time) at the home of Doyle Braun (KI8L) for the annual picnic. Please bring table service and a covered dish or dessert. CONTACT N8JBG OR W8AV FOR MORE INFORMATION.
DX Net:The WARC DX Group is sponsoring a weekly DX Net every Thursday beginning at 8:00 PM. We are using the club repeater on 147.21 (with 147.48 simplex as an alternate frequency) while the 147.345 repeater is down.
DX Cluster: Wooster now has a node for the KN8COQ DX Packet Cluster thanks to Goose, W8AV. The node frequency is 145.09 and the alias is WOODX. You can connect to it by typing either "C WOODX" or "C W8AV-7". It is linked to KN8COQ through an internet gateway.
