This particular model 30 was the 4th propane tractor
Cockshutt ever built. It is one of two known in existence today.
Cockshutt was known to have built very few propane fueled
tractors and only offered them for less than a three year
period. It was an option on the model 30 and 40 only. My father
and I restored this tractor in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of
the Cockshutt 30 in 1996. It was featured on a special
anniversary poster by Antique Power magazine.
